Footprints Celebrates Conductive Education Awareness Week

11.3.24

Week commencing 11 March marked the start of Conductive Education Awareness Week, an opportunity to raise awareness of Conductive Education and how it transforms lives.

We are proud to be the only Conductive Education centre in Nottingham, providing services to babies and children living with mobility and communication difficulties.

Our Head of Service Erika Juhasz said "Conductive Education Awareness Week is a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate its importance and the incredible impact it can have.

For some of us lucky enough to have called Conductive Education our profession for so many years, it simply frames our lives and influences our whole outlook on everything."

And one of our families told us...

"2.5 years of hard work and conductive education! We were told Ellie would never, walk, talk or even chew her own food. Footprints Conductive Education Centre supported us and helped Ellie learn how her body works. She learned to talk, eat safely and eventually take steps whilst working with footprints. We will always be eternally greatful to the team!"
