Footprints Patron Richard Whitehead MBE Officially Starts And Runs The Robin Hood Half Marathon

Nottingham based charity Footprints Conductive Education Centre recently celebrated its 20 year anniversary and is incredibly proud to have Richard Whitehead MBE as their patron.

Footprints were delighted to be one of the charity partners for the Robin Hood Marathon in 2022 and had a team of runners for the event. With 14 people taking part in the half marathon and 6 children and families in the 1.5 mile mini marathon, the Footprints Team were easy to spot in their purple and black Footprints designed running tops.

All of the Footprints Team fundraised for this wonderful event, raising just over £9,000 between them. Every penny will be utilised to transform the lives of children and families.

The team of runners were greeted at the Footprints charity tent at the end of the race and supported along the iconic route by the volunteer marshalls who cheered the team on as they passed Nottingham’s many favourite landmarks.
