Max Hayes Joins Footprints Team as First Young Trustee
4.10.24We are really pleased to share the exciting news that we have our very first Young Trustee joining our wider charity team, Max Hayes.
Max has supported Footprints for a number of years, including being an integral part of the Team Footprints FC football matches, and supporting our charity.
Max is currently a student at the University of Salford, and is a journalist and broadcaster, hosting the successful Nottingham Forest podcast, Garibaldi Red. He also freelances at the BBC working across 5 Live and local radio.
We’re really excited to have joined the Young Trustees Movement, who bring together current and aspiring trustees to increase the representation of trustees aged 30 years and under and diversifying charity boards. Max will be working alongside our wider charity team and will be mentored by our Chair of Trustees, Rob Evans.
This announcement comes at a crucial time for Footprints, as we will soon be starting the transformation of our new Footprints Centre in Clifton. This will be the first time in our charity’s history that we will have control of our own site, and brings incredible opportunities for the services we can provide for children and families living with disabilities, as well as all of the organisations we’re connected to and will be in the future.
Our Chair of Trustees, Rob Evans said “I’ve known Max for a number of years now and am so impressed with his maturity, aspirations and his many achievements at just 20 years of age. It’s an incredibly exciting time for Footprints, with our centre in Clifton that will become our new home, and I’m so pleased that Max is joining our team as our first Young Trustee.
Max will work alongside the rest of the team, including our newly announced Celebrity Ambassador Pat Lally and fantastic team of ambassadors, helping us to continue to raise our awareness, make new connections and partnerships, and reach more families.
