Nottingham Children's Charity Promotes Awareness Of Conductive Education

As Footprints Conductive Education Centre in Nottingham supports children with neurological conditions and children with genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome, they hope to raise awareness and highlight the benefits of this holistic learning programme.

Conductive Education can be used throughout a person’s life and is traditionally beneficial for people with cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, MS, stroke and acquired brain injury. It focuses on potential and ability rather than an individual’s disability. Children and adults with neurological and mobility impairments can learn to perform the daily tasks that people with typical development experience through early intervention and repetition.

Footprints is an established registered charity currently supporting 63 children. Footprints CEC can have an extraordinary impact on the children, their parents or caregivers who attend specialist group sessions, and their families.
