HBE Services was appointed to provide the structural steelwork and associated items for 1 Bassinghall Avenue, the works comprises of two new core extensions with staircase and balustrade a new plant deck capable of supporting 4no new 10 tonne air handling units. To allow for the plant deck and screen structural strengthening and site welding was required to facilitate the works.
Along with the above are requirements for 90 metres of terrace balustrade and 115 metres of new screen to allow for a roof terrace and new mansafe support steelwork.
We were tasked with lifting all items for the pPhase one steelwork over four days, due to the limited access and only area for the crane our AP used our Trimble x 7 Scanner to allow us to map the existing buildings and using the Spearings AT6 we were able to carefully unfold the crane between the existing buildings on Coleman Street and also negotiate the underground basements between the two adjacent buildings.
Our Team utilised positive lifting to allow for safe and efficient install of all members.
We have the phase Two works planned for early 2025...

HBE Services was appointed to provide the structural steelwork and temporary steelwork to enable the alterations to an existing truss at third floor level, the complex works allowed us to install two number temporary 18 metre trusses which using hydraulic jacks unload the truss at third floor which was hanging the first floor slab and re configure the truss.
